MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville is partnering with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service to improve water quality in the Mozingo Lake Watershed. The NRCS is providing $200,000 from the Environmental Quality Incentive Program.
Assistant City Manager Ryan Heiland says it will allow farmers, ranchers, forestland managers, and landowners in the drainage area of Mozingo Lake an opportunity to conserve natural resources and address resource concerns.
Producers can apply now for financial assistance up until May 1st. To apply, producers may submit a signed and dated application via mail, fax, scan, email,, or submitting online at www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/main/national/cgate.KXCV-KRNW
